The night was still...
Bewitched
by the magical spell
of tender moments together...
Harkened melodies of love songs...
created tidal waves...
pulled by the moon and the sun.
An incarnate of suffering...
Came to light...
Came upon her...
Divulged his heart into hers!
Sweetness...
spellbinding...
...but knowledge persisted
to disenchant
...beautiful Proserpina

casi 5 años.....first off thank you so much for your comment..you don't know how much it means to me....and yes to your comment I'm scorpio as can be...glad to meet another...i try not to believe in that to much but sometimes your just like ...thats just....uncanny....anyways i love this poem.. i had to favorite it...your writing has this almost turn of the century feel to it...but your poetry and I've noticed a few do this...its something I've not really been able to do...you can use so few words ...really sometimes just one words in a sentence and somehow the reader understands and gets it..and is moved.. i know i am...and I've never been able to say anything in a small way..maybe one or two poems of mine but even then i don't say they are finished..all one has to do is see my bio..and look, even my comments....i have to use so many words to describe what i mean ...so I'm quite inspired by your poems ..its like its pure emotion..this one was absolutely beautiful and strong...gave me a little chill at the end ..i read your comment below ...persephone was always one of my favorite characters in greek mythology ..its neat you based her on that but didn't write it necessarily about her..leaves it open ended to the reader to ponder ...i could read this one over and over again...it writes so little but tells so much...
