Heartbreak
A cliché to which I can’t relate– Heartbreak.
For I am too young
and everything is “just good fun.”
I am not able to express
all I endure,
without becoming a stuttering mess.
I take these things,
and I suppress.
My heart and my brain are in distress.
I may not know romantic heartbreak,
but I know how much it hurts
when the person you long for chastises you for your every mistake.
Though I am not well acquainted with heartbreak,
I know more than I can say about different types of pain.
