I don’t know if I can love anyone, perhaps my hearts been rendered numb. But I figured you must have been the one. since we went our separate ways I’ve never felt so incredibly dumb. I sit here ever so glum just thinking about the way you held me up like the sun. Taking another swig of that rum as I light up another blunt. I don’t intend to get drunk, merely yearning for that infinite connection. Forget them other fools and their ignorant ass questions. They claim to know my truth though they know squat about what I've been through. Mind vast like the ocean, so full of doubt and endless commotion.
