Dragonflies
So what now
Darkness is seems what you see
When you look into my eyes
Distance is all you can
Find
You were close
Not many have been as close
But yet a trait deep inside
Was triggered
Set you back
Barrier standing tall
And leaving
Blankness for your eyes to
Seek
Treasured feelings are
Buried
Map is burnt
And clues
Disappear
It is nothing to do with you
Just a bad habit that
I can not rid of
Help yes I could use
But not to worry
I do my best not to drag any in
Not many would take time to
Understand why
So forgive me
I may have brought you to close
Not even making you feel
All scars of hurt
And swim through pain
An easy pass you received
Not for sure why
But I don’t regret
You have left a mark
In a special place
That will always be reminded
By a dual set of whiperin wings
That soar through the world
Remind others that
A message is bein sent
A remembrance
Will remain
Till the grave
The dragonflies
