Wife War

This day that shined
In the morning it seemed
Cold with bitter air
Not knowin what strikes
Were gna be blown
What part of life
Would have to be faced
There has been so much thrown
And all seem like I
Caught it all
The spears pierced me deep
The knives slice even if they miss
Heavy balls full of darkness and pain
Are shot from cannons
That knock me down on impact
But yet all I can do is
Get back to me feet
Its hard to believe all this war
Seems to comin most from one area
The dust settles and the wind stops
I stand strong to face the enemy
To only see it is my wife
The rage she carries the pain
She fights with so much anger
Sometimes not seein who
Shes in battle with
Not knowin how much is left in me
But I know I will die even
Without givin up
So if she drive me to my last breath
Then let it be
But my last words would be
I love you
