I Am Doing Time With You, Son
A mother's nightmare...
I am doin’ time with you my dear son,
I want to see you free, but I’m not sure that day will ever come.
Sadly you put a love one in harms way,
I am not still not sure what happen on that day.
CPS, Detectives and craziness arose...
...when you chose what you chose...
No matter the crime, it is ALL malicious and unnecessary act,
I am doing time with you my dear son, and that’s a fact.
Your voice so unclear and sad, a tone that breaks my heart,
But the choice you made has our family torn apart.
A piece of my heart is in places so desperately needed,
For Our Heavenly Father to bring us back together, I have pleaded.
Here is my prayer
Dear God, my son done wrong
I ask of you dear Father to bring him home
You only loaned him to me, this I understand
...and everything that happen was in Your plan...
Please protect him Lord, as you know his mental is not the norm’
...protect him from anything that may do him harm
I pray that he has communication with You each and every day
I end this prayer with a mustard seed of Faith and knowing everything is going to be okay
Though, I let it go and let You, I miss his smile, his dry jokes and his touch
Will You please reveal to him that I love him very much
Amen
I am doing time with you my dear son,
Time will tell only when God’s Will is done.

There are very few people that I have come across that does not have a family member is jail, rather they are immediate or distant family. No matter how you put you or I either one are not responsible for the next person's actions. How would you deal with a love one in prison?
