Today is a very special day,
Today you showed your love for each other in a very special way,
Today is the greatest day in anyone’s life,
Started as a couple in love, and ended as husband and wife.
It’s the start of a new chapter,
Full with happy memories, smiles and laughter,
Of course not all of the time, as the sky isn’t always blue,
But stand strong together until the sun shines through,
A wedding isn’t about dresses dancing and rings,
It’s not about cakes and invites and all of them things,
Its making a promise you must always keep,
Loving each other regardless as beauty is only skin deep,
Vanessa when things upset you and get you down,
When you’re feeling sad and David’s being a clown,
Remember today and why you chose this,
God gave you to each other, as a very special gift,
Vanessa and David now that you’ve said ‘I do’,
You’ve promised to love your whole life through,
Remember that today is just the start,
A perfect decision made straight from the heart.
