In my childhood days
I endure so much hurt and pain
Every day was constant darkness and rain
I faced a lot of drama which punctured a hole
Deep down in my soul
Now I’m still emotionally scarred
Yet I’m trying my best to become whole
In my childhood days
I often cried on the inside
While I was slowly dying on the outside
All I ever wanted was to run far away to a place and hide
But I did not gave up the fight and I still won’t
For I know God is always by my side.
