Me

I’m different and unique from the rest
The things that I thrive off of can not be grasped amongst fingertips
Moons and leaves, happiness and sunsets
The air I breathe is not oxygen but sounds of laughter, music and poetry fill my lungs
I like the concept that this world is not perfect, makes it easier to understand in my head
The dark fails to scare me but rather I let it surround me
I’m comfortable drowning in a sea of black, let it fill the cracks which before were just empty nests
I still seem to like precision, I crave routine, I thrive off of the straight and narrow knowing
where it will lead
Simply stated,
I like to be me
