Is a cry that was distressing
it was 12 January 2010 a terrible event?
Location mourning has multiplied our homes
earthquake ravaged Haitian us
Our gut could not keep the rope
So this gave great distress
Tears were like a river flowing
We lost breath under rubble death
Adult children could not save him
These dead leaves break under debris
Did not get the chance of being saved
These let sorrow crying
That left suffering crying
Family, friends let go.
This gave great torment and sorrow
Without reflection, being overwhelmed, uninhabited
Because blood vessels were concentrated
Land and sky gave one color
Course wilderness vomiting large blade dust
It is as if life never exist again
so much emotion and commotion
We have encroached body could not keep our minds
Conscience we had roller
Under great panic and anxiety
When we sought family members and friends to
Who broke died, disappeared.
It was a great disaster for us these days
this did not miss not we shove
and all these things escape storm death
has already passed among us
it was a scream, a scream! That leaves Chagrin in the heart.
