Here I am, amidst my rambling—thoughts provoking emotions, strong
Within my heart no words utter
I cannot explain the depths in my fear and a longing to trust—alone in a world hard as rock
Only nature consoles, betimes
I look on stars and butterflies
I kiss rain
I swim in streams—clear
I muse—smiling
I find precious stone alongside rushing rivers, dashing them open
I discover earth’s hidden agates inside
I pray, DEAR GOD!
Why must I live amongst fear’s tempest whilst your love stands all around me?
I touch it everyday, walking a path of arching trees burning red with autumn’s dawning, lovingly guiding me
For love is the vision you gave me with which to see your masterpiece
God, you are an artist!
You paint wonders for me, filling my world with ever enduring colors
Nature is your art—singing and breathing
It shows me where to find secret jewels beneath an abiding barrier
Alas, we are entombing stones of precious agate
Each different
Each, a unique masterpiece
Each, God's art
