Madly in Love Within

By J Ann Crowder

Love, I dare not let in, my soul I dare not let escape, because I have been dashed to a million little pieces before
Broken on the floor
A shattered glass, once so vibrantly clear as a still Lake frozen like ice
Her crushing left pieces of me adrift
Set asunder
Separate
Shaming love & deep inner soul dressed in light, thus truth bound

If only I knew sooner love blooms inside first, with its roots sunken into my heart, then love reverberates out & entreats her magic, pulling it in again

Now I fall madly in love with myself, extending compassion, reaching within, picking up each piece of glass & molding her back together again with a heat of self-reflection, self-love, acceptance, wildly dancing with my soul magic, reaching outside of me, beyond, gathering in soft hues of loving circles, hands, hugs, encouragements, thoughts, reflections, aspirations, inside again. Loving me & loving outside of me, letting in what possibilities could be. A magical round. A magical spin, falling madly in love within
