Perfumes of Roses Red

J A Crowder

I love this season, when cold clings to it’s final, bitter grip

A soul of spring tides await a blissful sun’s glorious morning kisses

I long for this season sprung of love lost in visions living in perfumes of roses red, velvety soft, as my dreams slumber & all my fantasies enliven

Mother Earth gives of love as a red rose thus inspires such depths

I parade in her gift
I bask in her light
I tango in her dreams of lustful delight

His arms gently brush my skin as lips press, warm & gently

Soft as those rose petals of velvet, his touch

Mother Earth sprung!

Thus relinquishing my story entranced within a globe of enchanted paradise

A Magical love sprung from the depths of cold pain

Like petals bloomed from beneath cold mud

Love thus grounded within a cool breath of soil living beneath my naked feet

I clasp his hands, sensing upon my skin warmth of sun caressing

Both masculine & femininity grounded to Earth, as a single star breaking through shrouded darkness

A heart’s  enternal collide with another

Romantic elements blooming rare as diamonds thus carved within their fire

A precious binding touch gathered in from her hidden depths to these soft, silken petals of light
