By J Ann Crowder

In mystic waves she floats amidst a damp, turquoise heaven

From enchanting slumbers she arises, sculpting her fabled prisms, touching  Monoceros, galloping amongst blue lightening fields, touching a magic sea oasis of fire

She travels from ocean to beach beds of star dust, veiled in a misty glow

She is a rarity, like fallen stars captured on wishes—they become our dreams gingerly molded into our reality

Her flauntless, spiraling headland stands as a wile of perfect dawns within a unity of enchanting seasons, creating melodic, symphonic wavelengths

She grazes in a purity of silver forests

Her relucent, snowy skin shines pearly against a moonlight’s soft heather

Her magic, unparalleled, ignites bewilderment

My every thought and reason she unifies

My doubts she slowly crumbles

Now, trees breath eternal light—as with a bloodless, frosted sky she fades, weaving spellbound strings from my dreams to my waking days

Her presence is manifested by a faint, tinkering bell chime shaking against a slight, airy breeze

She disappears on oceans of atmosphere, reverberating within the musical cords of my memory—never forgotten

A mystical poem about fantasy and imagination. Our imagination allows us to break down the walls of our limitations. Written February 24th, 2017.

UNICORNS FOR EVER

A poet without an imagination is like a carriage without a horse. Very well done, as usual.

Always a pleasure dwelling in your world where trees breathe eternal light and doubts disappear. Love. Thank you Jennifer.

Thank you! Really, this possibility is for all writers, where imagination has no limits.
