Hate

Cringing in the darkened flame
Looking to the others
Face’s gone, they’re the same
Seeking all brothers
Lighting the candle with just one spark
Held within all desires
Fan it gently, light the dark
Lighting the soul’s fire
Take away all the faces
Look around, all the same
Look at all the places
Look around, hate’s to blame
People chose their many paths
Follow yours with all your heart
Don’t let it burn and crash
Don’t let it tear your soul apart
Cringing with fright
Hear God’s cries
See the sight
Hear His sighs
Then you’ll see what He sees
You’ll hear what He hears
A world of many different mes
To feel what He fears
The darkened flame
Light if once more
We’re all the same
Open the door
Cringing with fright
Change that now
Show them the light
Just tell them how
We’re all brothers
Looking to the others
They’re all the same
Hate’s tears change their name
