Sometimes I wish I was blind and couldn’t see you;
or that maybe I could shut you out of the only memory you left me with.
Sometimes I wish you had looked the other way;
or that maybe I could’ve seen you through a different pair of eyes.
Sometimes I wish we wouldn’t spend our lives pretending;
or that maybe our reality would be closer to my dream.
Sometimes I wish I was blind and couldn’t see you;
but sometimes I wish I didn’t have to wish sometimes.
