Did we love with all our hearts when we swore that’s what we’d do,
and did we wish upon a star with every chance we had?
What was it about you that made me look twice?
When I probably shouldn’t have looked at you at all?
And what was it about me that you just couldn’t resist?
When in the end, all those promises were broken right in half.
Would it had made a difference if we’d given it some time?
