To Sabrina

Saddest day we gleam
Though you shone late
In catholic mournings I send
You shine like Hyperion
All moon beams and leaves of blue
Breasting tender sun rays
As snail-ridden coastal churches
Bleed your sweet victories
Burn-blest in nightfall
We clasp your dreams as ours
Kissing your sweet remorses
Of a single horsed boulevard
We met on; sweating our passion
Clasping the distance we hold
We count the floorboards you leave
As drinks disappear among friends
Candle-tied in a shallow whisper
We meet on a shingle cloud
To greet the sun indifferent
Because he knows our secrets
But we will bend on climates
That have eyes like coals
Recluse we release our eagles
Into owl-wise conscience
So I beg pardon of ill-sped graces
I know not of
But your cheeks spread the heavens
And your life will read as a prayer
In a humble sky that we paint
Because words is all the matter
In fever-driven days we live in
Fare-thee well my bird of the seasons
