Vindicated in a world's seizure

Patience whispered in shrouded summer blinding
Coined in a ringing springing season
And washed over in mercury gleaming
A shot in cabined doors
Scraping the haunted floorboards
Dragging chains heavier than I
My mother of hills drinks brandy tonight
Filling my clouds with sulphur and smoke
Her milk bleeds the teats
Cutting my tender tooth as I play
Churched in a grassy tomb
Briared in walls of raspberries bushes
Torching my rambled loins
In a shadow thought all is redder
Crossed out in blues and deeper blue
Traipsing the corridor in shallow silks
Needled-fingers split the morning
Promised to snake-bees that tend my skies
Vindicated in a world’s seizure
I race in robed conversation
With a white masquerader
Donned as judas with pink knives
He rapes his tree fancy in a pickled foe
Colors drip my essence in hands that swing
Taking leave of man in many coats
I need not you, Sweet Destroyer!
Give me leave to room this promise
Gutted green innards
Teeming all oceans in a bloody timid second
As time pounds the grain
Beside us, we dream
Unearthed in scaling planets
Joy in a touch that pierces
Is all dear hearts pray for
Born in a mad place we drift
To vulnerable and the masts strewn about
Crafting our spirits with wings
Eagling this mossy skyline
With a tailor’s tooling mind
Hunting ghosts of the air
And echoes that catch our hand by ear
So in twilight shining
We spin our syllables all thanksgiving
To a dread father in gold bits
Cringing below cruel rays
But we dance at night
Tip-toeing yearnings in yellows
Forever young in a darkening shade
Virginizing the toads, swamps, and owls
With faery songs we learnt by touch
Lighting our dim hearts
Of candles that burn brightest green
And gods teeming with jealousy
As we bed in gapping holes of content
