Your sunshine

My mind moves on like a triple-spelled caterpillar
Breathing beneath the ashes and compost
Trying to seek a refuge that is nought to be found
And your face is still upon my mirror
But I wish it wasn’t
I need a sanctuary away from all this
From all the tornadoes
That split hat from hair
Given into by coquettish whispers
To egg things
Into the direction of your proximity
But I refuse, I deny
Because we understand one another
And I am under the vanilla sky
Praying for your forgiveness
I am heart-sequestered
And I need your sunrise to shine upon me
So I can rise again’
But we seem to be at a standstill
With reciprocation
And I am seaming a treble balance
Between the pain and the joy
Where I can be a dreamy-hilly boy
And you, dearie,
Can face my violent emotion without fear
Because I am not a dead man
But very much alive
And I just crave for that sunshine
