Why birthdays ?
My birthday gives a zest to my life,
It provides a new impetus to my soul,
It revives my interest in life,
And enthuses me to look for,
New avenues of growth, developments,
Interests; it leaves me to a new hope,
For a better life;
With wishes and greetings,
From kith and kin and the joy,
Of receiving new gifts,
And endearing notes,
Birthdays should continue,
To come annually,
To give us a chance,
To replenish our lives,
Gloriously and joyfully.
