Staring Back at Me
Its been such a hard road,
every which way I go..
Will you please help me,
find my way..
These curves are confusing,
the up and downs confuse me..
But i know, that i will find,
peace someday..
And the faster that i go,
the more dangerous these things seem to be..
And i cant slow down,
for the fear within that you would pass me..
No matter how hard i try,
to move forward with my life..
Things of the past, keep comin back,
just to torture me..
And its just now sinking in,
all the time that ive spent,
trying to fight,
all of the memories..
And when im alone,
wondering where ive gone wrong,
the only thing i see,
is what these mistakes have made me be..
And everytime i feel,
like i have time to heal,
your always there,
in the mirror staring back at me..
