Heal us earthly mother
so we may do your work
Banish our addictions,
the ones that make us shirk.
Show us overstanding
when our moves are going wrong
Give to us the music
and we will bring the song
Make us ever thankful
for each and every day
Lead us from temptation
when we begin to stray
Give to us your blessing
of food that’s good to eat
Protect all living things from harm
and wean us from the meat
Heal us earthly mother
so we may tend to you
Suckle all your children
not just the chosen few
We want to do your bidding
but we’re mostly hypnotised
By promises of tomorrow
from the gods who advertise
So heal us earthly mother
as we would do for you
Remembering in your honour
that a mothers love is true
