I look at this stranger with disdain,
I don’t like her or know her name,
Her face is empty,
Her emotions cold and bare,
I know she can be kind,
But life to her was never fair.
All the secrets and lies,
Sin’s that only God knows.
Feelings that revive,
Memories she can’t drop like a stone,
Her faith,
Is almost flawless,
Perfected to sins peak,
Her tongue,
Lies lawless,
Though her eyes tell what she dares not speak.
I can’t help feel I know her,
This girl who fears herself,
I keep looking at these mirrored walls,
And in my heart the answer is felt.
