something feels
as though it is at
unease
because it has not
settled.
precipitating dust
in an old room:
we are falling,
but not quite sure
we want to be caught.
(and falling is letting go)
even as we both stand ready
to catch,
the dust we are
is only visible
in the just right sunlight
that comes at dawn
or does not
come at all
and we are falling
and falling is letting go.
