If she was real

I hear a girl
whisper,
when I’m lying
in my bed.

She talks about
mourning,
how grieving’s
such a pain.

She says if she
was real,
she would hold
me in her arms
and
love me until the
sunrise.

I hear a girl
speak,
and I wish she
could be true.

I know I’m hearing
voices,
cause of the brick
wall that lives in
me.

I want her to be
real,
cause she’d hold
me in her arms
and
make me feel
loved all through
the night.
