This is my thought on the society that is constantly in need for more. It's a monster and yet miserable because we all fall under the category.
I crossed the stars to talk to you And never looked both ways. I used no maps, no GPS, No person’s word or say. I simply crossed the galaxy
And I stop. A river perfected by breaks aloft… Depthless; passing fragments. And so the cascades fall, Saving my desire that any can main…
Weakly, I twist and I turn The handle. Pushing with all my might Against the heavy wooden door. Knocking and shouting,
Out of sight Out of mind, they say. But they who say it Must not have been in love And lived with distance.
I gave you my key to the spare. The room had just been finished, And made new. Red painted walls, Furniture all fixed and furnished.
As quiet as a whisper And as sudden as time Just as thorns upon a flower Are as sneaky as a crime A never-knowing anticipation
Glass tears shatter. Plastic teeth grin. Rubber lips frown. Our society smiles at the glass, The plastic, the rubber.
She looks up at the moon. Though it is far away, The glowing orb looks closer than… The gentle glow of the stars Gives the earth below a dim cast.
Dot to dot A rhythm of dots From here to there All for what? How are we satisfied by the
Hellos are sacred. They can be the first of many, and The continuation of more to come. Hold tight to those hellos. Hold them close to you, and
Twinkling, dazzling, shining brigh… The stars gleam down upon the nigh… She stares into their glowing beam… Thinking only of her dreams They call to her
Their needles pierce me, Forcing my body to obey. Cold and stiff, My arms begin leaving me; Turning into nothing
Dressed in a bouquet of white And draped in a feathery boa, She sits and sulks in silent. Quietly she sways On the gleaming water’s edge
As my body wraps around you, my brain can not. I can read you. The cover, The title page,
Never stopping Always growing Aging slowly Stretching gently Young buds
