End Of My Beginning.

In the middle of no where,
standing alone at the edge of the sea,
I cannot move, all I can do is stare,
and imagine what it’s like to be free.
Not a thought or emotion,
I cannot feel anything,
in this time, I am frozen,
is this the end of my beginning.
As the waves roll towards the sand,
a tear falls from my eyes,
about to break, she grabs my hand,
I guess my angel heard my cries.
This is where I spread your ashes,
I never knew you would be waiting for me,
as my heart shatters,
you help me see.
You are not here,
but I can feel the touch of your hand,
this is not real, I fear,
I do not understand.
I fall to my knees and scream your name,
falling apart, piece by piece,
but everything remains the same,
I know this is not real, because you are deceased.
