My Mummy.
This poem is dedicated to my mummy, Melissa Nicolaou.
My mummy is sweet, her cuddles no one could beat.
My mummy is funny, she is so stunning.
My mummy is kind, someone like her, you’ll never find.
My mummy is smart, she has the biggest heart.
You carried me through birth,
The special bond we made,
You brought me to Earth,
And gave me a beautiful name.
You are my best friend and my mother,
We can talk for hours on end,
You cannot be replaced by no other,
You are my true friend.
You give me guidance and support,
You teach me the good and lead me away from the bad,
I cannot re-call a time we ever fought,
You lift my spirits when I am sad.
Even though your smaller then I,
I will always look up to you,
One thing I never want to see is you cry,
I cannot express the limits I would cross if you ever do.
You are such a amazing person,
Where ever you walk the sun will shine,
My love for you will never end,
You are my mother, I am so proud to call you mine.
I would run a million miles and so much more,
Just to see your face,
Thank you for everything now and before,
Where ever you are is home at any place.
You are a angel sent from up above,
You are my beautiful mother,
You help me believe in love,
You also blessed me with a big sister and brother.
Not just a mum or a nanna,
Not just a friend or a wife,
But so much more and so much better,
Thank you for giving me my life.
