Guilty Fugitive

Woke-up to the noise,
When a beam of darkness fell heavily, on,
And broke into pieces the colorful carpet of light,
That, I spread carefully on the floor,
At dawn the day before!

The scattered shards of light now lying strewn across the floor,
Some glistening in the darkness and,
Some crackling and smoldering in bright flames,
I sat in my bed, cracking my knuckles, and frowning at,
My life standing across the floor, like a guilty fugitive,
With a downcast gaze at his curled up toes,
And I’m screaming aloud in silence at the top of my lungs,
Where our silent questions, answers, reasons and arguments,
Cast at each other silently, across the room filled with a noisy silence!
