Valkyrie
With the waves crashing, I find myself lost upon the sea
Washed up I am eclipsed by her shadow of majesty
She takes me to a kingdom far far away
I am enlightened to be with her, even for a short stay
With whispers she speaks, not offending the sweet melody
Enchanted I wait, is she here only for me?
With a tender touch and warm embrace
She lays me down in a peaceful place
There have been many great souls to walk this world and beyond
Then comes the light to take you in its holy bond
With golden tears shed, she lets me go
I start to weep myself because I fear the unknown
My sweet Valkyrie, won’t you join me to the other side
Now and forever, off to the heavens is where I shall reside
