She and You
You came into her life and swept her off her feet
You gave her the love and made her feel complete
You adored each other and you were all that mattered
You promised her the world but now hers is shattered
You were a beautiful soul but you lost the strength
If only you could see she was there at arms length
You were dying inside and couldn’t handle the pain
She pines for you to be here so she could explain
To see you at her door once more would be her wish
To laugh with you, hold you and to have one more kiss
You couldn’t see the light and the emotions were too much
Emptiness is left now she can’t feel your touch
You were born to be a dad but couldn’t see your kindness
The hatred inside you just left you with blindness
You have imprinted on her heart and will be missed forever
But loosing you and missing you she will have to endeavour
She knows your in heaven now so rest and sleep tightly
She will see you in the stars and watch them shine brightly
