Unspoken words
I walk down a street not knowing what lies ahead
I stare into the eyes of people on this earth
With every look brings me wonder
The eyes I notice display different emotions
Some filled with fear because they have little to no direction
Some filled with happiness because they found what they wanted
Some filled with tears because they lost something or feel sadness
Tears fall like raindrops on a rainy day
As I take a step on this street I feel as if I know more than what I see
I keep walking and looking around
Not just into eyes but looking at the surroundings around me
Wish I could erase this all and replace it
Good intention is made but what can possibly be done
I can make a child smile or help someone
But how does that reconstruct the damage that surrounds this place
Girls walk around with fear because they never know what lurks around the corner
Guys are unpredictable so we never know what they feel at any moment
Nor do we know what they will do
Guys and Girls may have their differences
But when will they realize that they have their similarities too
The one thing they have in common is that they can make a difference
