My Miracle

There have been times in my life,
When I needed a miracle to come true,
And in my deepest darkest hour,
My miracle was you.
There is no way to forget,
The impact that you’ve had,
And though at times anger comes,
That I met you, I’m always glad.
In the midst of letting go,
You gave me something to hold,
And as I hold you in my heart,
This miracle will never be sold.
I could hold on to possessions,
Yet I’ve given them all away,
And every morning that I awake,
My miracle’s alive today.
The only thing in life I need,
Is the love I found with you,
And just the fact we found each other,
Proves my miracle has come true.
