Trauma
The motions of healing from a trauma
Is the same as that of grievance
They follow the same steps
Each person going at their own pace
Fluidity
It doesn’t surprise me that this is the case
I have died
And I was resurrected
I survived
I’m alive
I grieve
Grieve the child I was to be
Grieve on my innocence that was torn away from me
Unwillingly i was lost
And I lost
Lost connections that I yearn for but will never ever have
So I grieve
I accept
I will be
