Maddy

To my precious daughter Madison.

You ask me why I live?
That’s easy, its that kid.
She shows me love and gives me pride,
without her I would have died.
She makes the sunshine a little brighter,
She makes my baggage a little lighter,
She makes the grass a little greener and makes any spotless thing a little cleaner,
She makes flowers smell a little better.
She makes my soul warm like a fuzzy sweater.
Her eyes are as deep as night, they make me forget all the worlds plight.
Her skin is soft as a feather, with her I can weather, every storm that comes my way,
I am thankful everyday, for the gift that she gave, she came along, now I’m saved.
She teaches me how to love, how to stay strong and rise above.
Her hair is curly like the fries, I see myself in her eyes.
Her smile makes me cry, shed every tear, until I’m dry.
Thank you God for the gift, I’ll repay without rift.
She’s my life, she’s my heart.
If she’s away I fall apart.
I hope I give her all I can to make her live, love and laugh until the end.
I love you baby girl, you’re my world, my one, my only girl.
