We Are Here
That’s us in the trenches,
That’s us cleaning up messes.
That’s us that keep the peace,
While most others feast, on the fruits of their labor.
You look to us as a savior, as the cure,
But what you are feeding us has no flavor.
We have laid back quiet, causing not a stir.
But, no longer shall we sit idle,
While being force fed the same bullshit like its the fucking bible.
We are here, here to do the work most others won’t,
To make a difference in the world, kinda like a lost vote.
We fight a losing battle everyday, but we continue the fight.
Not for you or the big wigs, but for our families and our own kids.
Not these monsters, criminals and cruel.
No matter what we aim to change, nothing will ever do.
Daily we get cussed at and all in return we get is fussed at.
Everyday we risk our health for those that want to keep their wealth.
And the truth is most don’t know what we do or put ourselves through, to keep them safe at night.
As time passes it wears on us making us all see only plight.
No services offered to improve our pshyche, only more shit to shove down our throats,
Like the vikings, we need to work.
All the while your thoughts become beserk.
We slowly lose our minds, our sense of worth and most of all, our peace of mind.
The piece that keeps you sane, on a level plane.
Well, guess what!?! I AM HERE!!
I am here for me, I am here for my family.
Not someone that will only blame me for things that happen,
If this continues we will start snappin, breaking bones and changing minds.
Today starts our time, we will break these binds of silence, let all know who we are,
What we do and most of all how we do.
Its time we rise, push ahead, do it our way.
Save our heads, improve our lives and remove the knives in our backs,
Use them to fight and slash our way out of these darkest days.
Shit is gonna change, you can either sit on the sidelines or get in the game without fear.
Because god damn it all, WE ARE HERE!!!
