Emptiness
The hollow hole in my heart gets bigger every day,
It pries open with every word you say.
You left me alone with no one around,
Emptiness filled me and I couldn’t hear a sound.
Birds circled the sky,
But I wished they’d die.
No one should be happy right now,
He told me to get over it but I just don’t know how.
The lies he told are rattling around my soul,
As my heart is being over taken by this giant hole.
Never will my smile go up to my eye,
Because every time I try, I start to cry.
A first love shouldn’t tear a person apart,
Because when they break up, they’ll be no room in her heart.
Love should be like a fairy tale,
A magical moment that a woman spend with her special male.
Don’t ruin a girls self esteem
Cuz a girls like a top, pull on one thread and out comes the whole seam.
I’ll say that I’ll never get over this mess,
But that’s because I’m filled with emptiness.
