The invisible girl
I’m the girl that sits on her own,
The one that feels ever so alone.
Who sits in a comer reading a book,
Hoping that her crush won’t look.
I’m the girl that doesn’t let go of the past,
The one that wishes today was her last.
Who cries herself to sleep at night,
Putting up with a mental fight.
I’m the girl that’s a nerd and a geek,
The one that everyone think is a freak.
Who is never given a second glance,
Nobody even gives me a chance.
I’m the girl that is invisible,
The one that is made to feel like a criminal.
Tonight is the night my life will end,
Just because I couldn’t find a friend.
