The Death of Us

Living in withered love
I loathe you; ache for you.
Walls close in, ceiling descends;
I clutch cramped stomach, go fetal;
digress to canonize us.
PURGATORY

Conjured ghosts transmits the past,
edited and revised; reality anesthetized.
Memories of your touch, breath on my neck,
skin to my skin, your scent
pass through my senses.
I taste your sweat.
TORMENT

Intrusive reflection consumes reason;
I seethe rage.
OBSESSION

Scorched sorrow re-ignites;
I burn.
DELIRIOUS

I scream your name in revulsion
whisper for you with desire
as I mourn the death of us
