Conversation 1st

I feel like I should talk with God…  TALK TO ME MY SON. Wow, it’s an honor to be able to talk to you.  I want to thank you for all that I have.  YOU MEAN EVERYTHING YOU HAVE MADE OR OTHERS HAVE MADE FOR YOU.  Well, yes you know; my house, my car, my new refrigerator, my flat screen TV, and even this computer.  THOSE ARE NICE TO HAVE, BUT I THINK YOU HAVE REAL TREASURES AROUND AND IN YOU THAT ARE MORE IMPORTANT.  Yes I suppose….WHAT ABOUT THE LITTLE THINGS LIKE THE SUN AND MOON, STARS AND SKY.  WHAT ABOUT THE FORESTS, FIELDS, AND MOUNTAINS, AND THE RIVERS AND SEAS, OR THE AIR YOU BREATHE LEST YOU DIE.  Duh, well yes, but they were already here and I didn’t have to make them.  YES THEY WERE HERE AND I MADE THEM FOR YOU.  I MADE YOU AND ALL THE WONDERFUL THINGS ABOUT YOU.  THE SENSES THAT FEED YOUR BRAIN WITH AROMAS, SUNSETS, HOT COFFEE, SOFT KITTENS, SONGS OF THE BIRDS AND BABBLING BROOKS.  Yes those are wonderful and I appreciate the equipment and, I might add, they are true blessings.  WELL I AM GLAD YOU THINK SO.  YOU UNDERSTAND WITH THAT PIECE OF “EQUIPMENT” I PLACED IN YOUR HEAD.  Oh, you mean my brain?  YES, YOUR WONDERFUL BRAIN WHICH NOT ONLY SOLVES PROBLEMS TO MAKE THE THINGS YOU MENTIONED, IT ALSO FEELS.  I know, like when someone says something nice to me I feel good about myself, and when they do something ugly, I feel hurt.  I don’t bleed or bruise on the outside but I feel the hurt on the inside.  YES THAT IS A PART OF THE FEELINGS OF YOUR HEART BUT THERE IS SOMETHING ELSE.  Something else, like what?  WHEN I MADE YOU I BREATHED INTO YOU TO GIVE YOU A PART OF ME.  You did?  YES, I PUT INTO YOU MY SPIRIT TO GIVE YOU GUIDANCE.  I don’t quite get it.  OKAY THEN “WRAP” YOUR HEAD AROUND THIS.  I PUT A GPS INSIDE YOUR HEART TO GUIDE YOU BACK TO ME.  IT IS LIKE ONE OF THOSE COMPUTER VIRUSES YOU HAVE HAD IN YOUR LAPTOP.  IT IS NOT ONLY A PROGRAM OF INFORMATION AT YOUR HEARTS REQUESTS, IT ALSO TRIES TO INFLUENCE YOU TOWARD ME.  Gosh, this is the reason I am talking to you now.  It is because you want me to realize my blessings and that you love me.  YES THAT IS PART OF THE REASON.  And the other part is?  EVERYONE ELSE AROUND YOU, MY SON, IS NO MORE OR LESS IMPORTANT TO ME.  YOU ARE NOT TO SEE YOURSELF AS WHAT YOUR LIFE IS ABOUT.  IT IS ABOUT ALL HUMANKIND.  I DO MEAN ALL,  RED, WHITE, BLACK, BROWN, YELLOW, OLIVE,…ALL.MY KINGDOM IS IN THE HEARTS OF EACH AND EVERY ONE.  WHEN EACH PERSON LIVES THIS WAY MY KINGDOM WILL HAVE COME ON EARTH.  So people are a blessing to me.  I now realize I should be most thankful for you God and for everyone that you have breathed your gifts into.  God you have made my day.  Literally!
