silhouette

I live my life in darkness
I’m the shadows murky trail
The ebony plumes of a minstrels song
That tells a sadness of bygone days
I’m the obsidian stain of the night rain
That forces its way through to day
I’m the clouds dull grey formation
That’s blown soft accross the dales

I’m the dark mist that shrouds the thief
The dark corners where the monsters hide
I’m the lies and deceit that flow with ease
I’m the pursed tight lips where secrets reside
I’m the bullet from the unseen barrel
I’m the moths lift and drag
The vampires seduction that holds prey in a pale hue
I am the darkness and my work needs no brag

I’m the dust on the coal miners face
I’m the cost of salacious wrongdoing
I’m the evil that whispers lies into weak ears
I’m the pochers trap, well hidden
I’m the cusp of all and everything
I am you, me and also them
I am the silhouette of this lit up world
And your soul I wish to aquire, to get

A poem about pervasive darkness;some call it evil,I call the silhouette.
