Say thy name

I always had colours, stripes all over me
Pigmentation of future human gray hair.
A mouthful of meat, fruit of cold tree,
Despair of the weak, I had it from thee.

I always looked up to the midday sun,
My naivete was my strength and still,
If a scary  monster would make me run,
I suppose you would have paid the bill.
Ugly beings and cement, loved nemesis.

Lying and cheating I could have learned
Spending so much of my attention with thee,
Millions could I easily have earned.
How could I ever thought I’d be free?

Your name is coldness,
You live by a frozen river of despair,
Your hands have broken a thousand hearts,
One of them mine, product of fair game,
For my pride and rage have been my shame...

Craziness of mine, aloud say your name,
Thee I will never tame,
O darkness, my sacred Heir!
