A Loving Hope
I sat there quietly while broken hearted,
you gave me your hand and then we started.
We went through a lot,
both thick and thin.
You showed me what it was like to be alive again.
So onward we went and I fell in love,
being with you is the best gift from above.
Though sometimes i wonder if this is real,
you smile and laugh as you say it’s true.
So again here we are hand in hand,
Being with you is the best i have ever had.
