What is this so called love?
The feels of it seem so unreal
When ur soul seems to attach to someonelse
When u can’t breath and your heart starts to melt
You look at the person’s glistening eyes
This feeling is unexplainable I think I’m gonna die.
The things that they do can make us go crazy
We call them bae, lover, crush, and even baby
My worlds complete when you’re there.
Your peace and tranquility remind me of doves
But I stare at my window and ask myself
What is this so called love?
It’s been awhile since I’ve liked someone back
But Everytime I do I just remembered how they attacked
Me in particular
I run away from feelings cuz it became habitual.
I’m exhausted trying to run
From the gun people shoot me with
The bullets r the ones I despise
Around them are covered with lies
My wound is right on my chest
Although down I still try my best
To give you everything from down and above
But it’s irritating cuz I still don’t know
What is this so called love?
I think to myself is there something wrong?
Maybe we laugh about it but we know the sparks gone
Nothing is the same anymore
As the flame we once had, contoured.
Into darkness that we built for ourselves
The pelts of tears falling on my my skin
Changed my mindset craving what others consider a sin
I look up and say to the man above
