A fugitive with a gun

It’s having people chant

And natural disasters
In God we trust
But money’ still our master
With the material things
It brings
We’ve become slaves to
Money and technology
People wanna give up

I remember sitting in church the church pews
of P.E.
Cursing God
Asking him why did he forsake me
Letting out all the rage and fury
Inside of me
But then I heard a voice from the Almighty

and indifference
And in order for these things to be obtained
Innocent lives
Are slain
The countless toll of lives
Husbands, brothers sisters and wives

Doctors are perscribing more and more drugs
To help the citizens cope

To be like like zombies hopped up on dope
We need the pain
We need to feel
To be exposed
And know what’s real

Spread hugs not drugs
You’ll never find the remedy
for Love on the shelves
