The poem of a lazy afternoon.

I am writing loving poems,
Hoping that I’ll see you soon,
On a sleepy Monday morning,
On a lazy afternoon.
Flowers pink and green and purple,
Colouring my afternoon,
Having fun inside my garden,
Dancing with a black baboon.
And we’re sitting in the garden,
Listening to a playful tune,
With the butterflies and peacocks,
On this lazy afternoon.
Tiny ants and flying beetles,
Playing trumpet and bassoon,
Pair of doves are getting married,
She’s the bride and he’s the groom.
And we write our lazy poems,
Till we see our friend the moon,
You’re the only thing that’s missing,
From this lazy afternoon.
