Growing older

Despite all of my rage
I’m still just ready to cave
I did not want to rage, though I did it anyway
ready to cave
Someday my offspring will crave energy
Just like his fathers rage
On edge
I cherish pictures I kept from the 90s to remember how easy it is
Growing older
You wrap your love around my neck
To cease me from breathing
Using Cherokee blood
like a spell a witch would call it
Though you do this to me often
I’m a incubus baby why don’t you kill me
I want you to rage youth you only have a few years to get thru
You see i wish you could understand
But you can’t
I’m obsessed with my youth
The years I was born into
The culture
The music
As I get older, I get stronger, I harness intellect from deep into my unknown unlocking new dreams, ideas, & answers, a new quest you will call it
For how much I want to rage
I will be In my cave
Living
Knowing
In a thought
