Once True Compass

Lately you’ve been hard to reach.
The trees have started to leaf
Now i see that your fire has been played for keeps.
Leaving my feet to the night life.
Sucked in by pressure I hold the elixir of death.
That fills my body with regret.
Numb to my perceived reality.
Awoken by confusion a case of just one more,  just one more.
Reaping my inhibitions with a choice forever
Tainting my once true compass.
