Dislodged Heart
I’m tired of this pain, being lead astray
You get me hooked, but then show your just another crook
I wanted to believe, you were going to be good for me
Confusion and disappointment, now I need an appointment
My heart is dangled over the ledge, just one small push to be off the edge
I exposed myself to you, only to get a negative infection
Always sick from everything, my medication can’t treat this situation
All one can do is bandage my heart, and say a prayer I won’t fall apart
